2. ORDERS
YOUR ORDER
We, Shopsie, provide a method for you to place an order with your local Horfield store.
By ordering via Shopsie, you are indicating that you understand and agree to these terms.
YOUR STATUS
By placing an order through our website or app you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract with us and that you are at least 18 years old.
ORDERS CONTAINING ALCOHOL, TOBACCO OR OTHER AGE RESTRICTED ITEMS
It is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol, or for any person to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol, tobacco or other smoking products on behalf of any person who is under the age of 18.
When ordering alcohol, tobacco or other age restricted products you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
We reserve the right to refuse delivery in accordance with our regulatory requirements.
We will not provide delivery if you are unable to provide ID and you look under 25
We will not provide delivery to any person if that person is, or appears to be, purchasing on behalf of someone who is under the age of 18
DELIVERY TIMES
All delivery times are estimates only, we do not guarantee that that the order will be delivered by the quoted time.
Local fast delivery operates during the below hours, All orders outside these times will be delivered the next day.
Mon- Fri 9:30am – 7pm
Sat 10:30am – 6pm
Sun 2pm – 6pm
REJECTED/ACCEPTED ORDERS
When you place an order through Shopsie. On receipt of your order we will either accept or reject your order. Although almost all orders will be accepted, there may be times where stock is unavailable to fulfil your order and the order will be rejected. This may be because items are out of stock or unable to make a delivery at that time.
When an order is rejected you will receive a notification by email. Any payment made will be voided. For most banks this will show on your statement within 24 hours, how ever some banks will take up to 10 days to refund the transaction.
SUBSTITUTIONS/OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
We will always endeavour to provide you with the products you ordered, where a product is no longer in stock we may choose to substitute that product with an alternative. Where an alternative is cheaper than the original product you will be refunded the difference. Where an alternative is more expensive there will be no extra cost.
Any substitutions made will be highlighted on the receipt, please check your receipt on delivery and confirm you are happy with the substituted items.
If you are unhappy with any of the items they can be returned to the driver and you will receive a refund for those items.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
After an order is placed with Shopsie, we are not obligated to accept amendments or cancel the order. However, most of the time we will be willing to do so as long as the order has not already left our premises. If you need to amend your order, please contact us.
COMPLAINTS & SUPPORT
If your order has not been to your satisfaction or you have any other queries regarding your order, please contact us.
PRICE MARKED PRODUCTS/PRICING
The price of the item(s) you order will be the price on the Shopsie site/app at the time you place your order or amend your order. If a new price or promotion is in place after you have placed your order for example, a multi-buy offer or price reduction which may be advertised on the packaging of goods you have ordered, these prices and promotions will not be applied to your order.
FAILED DELIVERY
When we have attempted delivery within the time frame requested by the customer and cannot complete the delivery / order, the driver will attempt to contact the customer (at least once) using the contact number provided when ordering. If contact cannot be made, we have the discretion as to whether additional order charges or temperature sensitive products will be refunded.
3. COUPON/VOUCHER CODES
All coupon/voucher codes are applied to the value of the order being placed, or delivery fee if stated and are subject to our general terms and conditions.
The coupon/voucher code must be entered into the Voucher Code field on the checkout page and applied for the discount to be deducted from the order.
Unless stated discounts cannot be combined and only one offer can be applied to any order. Shopsie has the right to exclude certain products or categories from discounts.
Many coupons are only valid for new customers or once per household, attempting to circumvent these restrictions may result in your order being rejected.
Coupon/voucher codes can be amended or withdrawn at any time.
4. LIABILITY
Our terms and conditions do not exclude or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
We will under no circumstances be liable to you for any loss of profit, sales or other business revenue, loss of goodwill, anticipated saving, or any other consequential loss.
Our maximum liability is the value of your order.
